My Mom was a Burke of Irish/German-American decent from Detroit, Michigan, USA. She spoke kindly of her heritage and up-bringing and has influenced me through her reverence to it.

We received the St Patrick's today. Thanks for the great service. The urn is beautiful. I took it straight away to the undertakers who transferred the ashes and they said they had never seen anything like it. The crosses are also beautiful and the boys will love them.

Hello John,
I just wanted to say thank you so much for sending the above order to us so promptly. We received it on Wednesday and my mother in law is so very pleased with the urn.
She was so upset with the plastic container that my father in law's ashes were delivered in, and now that he has a much more suitable resting place, is a lot happier at what is a very difficult time for her. My father in law will rest in it until he one day returns to Limerick which is where he was born.

Thank you for your condolences. It was very sad to lose my mom, but at 89 years of age, she had led a full life and was ready to move on. ..... The service we had for her was lovely; simple but elegant, as she would have liked. The most amazing part of it was the coffin. It was EXQUISITE. ... the funeral director there couldn't stop talking about it and praising it, saying it was one of the most beautiful he has ever seen. I wouldn't be surprised if he contacted you directly about ordering some. It was so perfect for my mom; I know she would have been delighted with it. I know I was.
I can't thank you enough for your assistance, and the quality and workmanship of your product. It made a very sad day a little easier. You'll be happy to know that, as they were lowering my mom and the Tara Poplar into the ground, we recited the Irish Blessing to send her on her way.

McCormicks's (McCormick's Mortuaries, Redondo Brach, CA.) have whisked it away to another town for a couple of days. My first opportunity to see it will be on Sunday (funeral is on Monday). John Zins of McCormick's (Senior Partner) stated warmly that it is beautiful. I had no doubt. May this be the first of many that are treasured in the States.

I just wanted to write to share with you how important it was for our family to bury our dear father in a solid oak coffin from Ireland. He always talked about Ireland and when we began making arrangements for his funeral we thought “wouldn’t it be very fitting if we could include something form Ireland as a tribute to him”. We really could not believe it when we discovered your company, offering a range of beautiful caskets and urns from Ireland, available within a matter of days in the States. The Grafton Oak really was a beautiful coffin, very different to anything that had been seen around our area before, and very Irish!
